July 31, 2026 – Seyfarth Shaw LLP represented Torq Consulting in its combination with Sendero Consulting, bringing together two Dallas-based, founder-led consulting firms with complementary strengths in digital transformation, data analytics, and AI-enabled business solutions.
The combination creates a larger platform positioned to help clients navigate increasingly complex business and technology challenges while preserving the entrepreneurial culture and client-first approach that have driven the success of both organizations.
The transaction created long-term alignment amongst the founders and leadership teams. The deal was completed on an accelerated timeline and required close coordination among management, investment bankers, tax advisors, and legal counsel, as well as a disciplined, technology-enabled approach to diligence and execution.
“This was a significant milestone for my wife and business partner, Kat Staiger, and for our company, and Jeff and the Seyfarth team were outstanding partners throughout the process,” said Chad Staiger, founder and CEO of Torq Consulting. “The transaction involved a number of unique and complex considerations, and they took the time to make sure we understood every step along the way. We always felt informed, supported, and well taken care of from the beginning of the engagement through the closing.”
“One of the most rewarding aspects of my practice is helping founders navigate transformative moments in their businesses,” said Jeff Cash, partner in Seyfarth’s Dallas office and lead attorney on the transaction. “What made this transaction especially meaningful was the alignment between the founders and their shared vision for building a stronger organization together. This transaction produced a great outcome for the founders, employees, and clients of both companies.”
The transaction further demonstrates how modern technology can support efficient deal execution. By leveraging advanced technology tools throughout the diligence and drafting process, the parties and their advisors efficiently evaluated issues and maintained momentum on an accelerated timeline.
The successful completion of the transaction reflected the close collaboration among Torq’s management team and its advisors. Equiteq served as financial advisor to Torq, with Graham Bell and Robby Riggs providing valuable strategic guidance and support throughout the transaction process.
The Seyfarth team was led by Dallas partner Jeff Cash and included partners Rotem Bar-Kokhva, Joshua Ditelberg, and Kevin Mahoney, along with associates Snir Geuli and Laurel Wanger.
Seyfarth’s Corporate department offers clients a full-service, multidisciplinary team of attorneys across virtually all areas of practice. The corporate group works with an array of businesses from large well-known companies to start-ups and is highly regarded for its deep knowledge of mergers and acquisitions, securities, investment management, corporate counseling, financing, and commercial transactions.
