October 15, 2026 – Seyfarth Shaw LLP has named Eric Anderson as its new Chief Information Officer, further enhancing the firm’s technology leadership as it continues to advance innovative solutions for clients and operations across the business.
Anderson, who had been Seyfarth’s Senior Director of IT and Security, succeeds Andy Jurczyk, who retired earlier this year. Anderson assumes responsibility for the firm’s technology strategy, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application development, and technology operations. In his new role, Anderson will oversee the continued evolution of Seyfarth’s technology ecosystem while aligning technology investments with the firm’s long-term strategic priorities.
Anderson’s appointment reflects Seyfarth’s continued commitment to innovation and technology leadership at a time when law firms and clients are rapidly adopting artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies. Seyfarth was recently recognized as one of the top two most innovative law firms in Bloomberg Law‘s Leading Law Firms report. The firm has distinguished itself through its investments in legal innovation, technology-enabled service delivery, and operational excellence.
Anderson has been a key member of Seyfarth’s technology leadership team for the past 14 years. He has led the teams responsible for the firm’s core technology and information security functions while playing a key role in driving a multi-year modernization of Seyfarth’s technology environment.
Under Anderson’s leadership, Seyfarth advanced a cloud-first technology strategy, modernized critical enterprise platforms, strengthened cybersecurity and risk management capabilities, and enhanced the technology tools that support collaboration and client service across the firm.
Anderson, as CIO, will continue to work closely with Seyfarth’s innovation and business leadership, including Chief Data and AI Officer Byong Kim and Chief Innovation and Strategic Design Officer Zeynep Ersin, to ensure the firm remains at the forefront of technological advancement in the legal industry.
“Technology is no longer simply a support function for law firms—it is fundamental to how we serve clients, manage risk, and create new opportunities for innovation,” said Anderson. “Seyfarth has built a strong reputation for embracing change and investing in the future. I am excited to continue working alongside our talented technology, innovation, and data teams to deliver secure, forward-looking solutions that help our lawyers and clients succeed.”
Seyfarth also promoted Mike Viscito to succeed Anderson as Director of IT and Operations.
Viscito, who joined the firm alongside Anderson 14 years ago, has played an instrumental role in modernizing Seyfarth’s technology foundation. In his new position, he will help lead the firm’s technology operations and infrastructure strategy while partnering closely with Anderson and the broader leadership team to support Seyfarth’s continued growth, resilience, and innovation.
“Eric has been an integral part of Seyfarth’s technology leadership team for 14 years,” said Lorie Almon, chair and managing partner. “Throughout that time, he has earned the trust of colleagues across the firm through his thoughtful leadership, technical expertise, collaborative approach, and deep understanding of our business. In his previous role as Senior Director of IT & Security, he has led the teams responsible for many of the firm’s core technology and security functions while helping drive a multi-year transformation of Seyfarth’s technology environment.”
