Seyfarth Real Estate partners Jami Balint, Catherine Burns, and Robin Freeman have been named among the 2025 winners of the Connect CRE Women in Real Estate Awards.
The awards highlight women in commercial real estate who have reached respected leadership positions and serve as mentors within the industry. This year’s honorees were selected from hundreds of submissions across the country, with recognition given to both national leaders and standout professionals from ten regional markets.
Connect CRE recognized Jami Balint in Seattle & Northwest for having “nearly 20 years of experience in the real estate industry.” Connect CRE added that “she represented tenants and buyers in over 450 build-to-suit acquisitions, encompassing more than 285 million square feet of industrial and last-mile facility space. In ten weeks, she closed three build-to-suit data center lease transactions, including a ten-building campus valued at $25 billion and two additional four-building campuses, each valued at $20 billion.”

Catherine Burns, recognized in Boston & New England, “oversees a team of partners, counsel, and associates who span the full gamut of Seyfarth’s Real Estate platform, including development, acquisitions, and dispositions, as well as real estate finance and leasing. Burns represents real estate funds, developers, owners, and operators, while offering trusted counsel on joint venture formation and restructuring, acquisition, development, and financing, as well as portfolio transactions and leasing matters,” said CRE Connect, which spotlighted Burns’ handling more than 100 projects for an equity firm client.

Freeman was recognized in the California region. CRE Connect highlighted her leadership “Robin Freeman as San Francisco Co-Office Managing Partner, leader of San Francisco’s Real Estate Group and the co-leader of Seyfarth’s Real Estate and Healthcare Finance Group.” In addition Connect CRE noted that “Freeman represents healthcare lenders with their transactions, focusing on skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. She manages various commercial real estate areas, including acquisitions, dispositions, and retail, office, and industrial leasing. Her efforts involved representing leaders in the national multifamily financing industry, commercial real estate investment management companies and commercial banks.”
