Strengthening Q5’s workforce transformation, organisation design and people performance capability across Australia and New Zealand

Q5 has appointed Kirsty Miller as Director in Melbourne and a member of the Australia & New Zealand Leadership Team, strengthening its expertise in workforce transformation, organisation design and people performance. With more than 15 years of experience helping organisations navigate complex workforce, organisational and transformation challenges, Kirsty brings a powerful combination of consulting expertise and in-house leadership experience.

Kirsty joins Q5 as Director, bringing more than 15 years of experience helping organisations align people, culture and ways of working with strategic priorities. She has led large-scale workforce, people and transformation initiatives across a broad range of industries, supporting organisations to improve performance, build capability and deliver sustainable change.

Working closely with executive teams, Kirsty specialises in workforce strategy, organisation design, employee experience and culture transformation. She is known for combining strategic insight with a pragmatic approach, helping organisations turn ambitious goals into meaningful outcomes through thoughtful design, strong analysis and collaborative delivery.

Kirsty brings a distinctive perspective shaped by both consulting and in-house leadership roles. Before joining Q5, she held senior workforce transformation and people leadership positions within the Wesfarmers Group, one of Australia’s largest ASX-listed companies, as well as leadership roles at two of the Big Four professional services firms. This experience enables her to balance the human and commercial dimensions of transformation, building trust and engagement while delivering measurable results.

Throughout her career, Kirsty has worked with global, national and local organisations across professional services, retail, FMCG, technology, healthcare, financial services and real estate. Her expertise spans workforce strategy, organisation design, employee experience and culture transformation, helping leaders create organisations that are equipped to meet evolving workforce, customer and business needs.

As a member of Q5’s ANZ Leadership Team, Kirsty will play a key role in supporting clients across Australia and New Zealand, helping organisations navigate workforce challenges, accelerate transformation and create environments where people and performance thrive together.

Originally from Scotland, Kirsty has called Australia home for more than 20 years and lives in Melbourne where she serves as President of a local volunteer-run community kindergarten, reflecting her commitment to supporting and strengthening the communities in which she lives and works.

Kirsty’s appointment further strengthens Q5’s leadership team across Australia and New Zealand, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to helping organisations build the workforce, leadership and organisational capabilities needed to succeed in an increasingly complex and fast-changing environment.
